2013 IT Report

May 10, 13 2013 IT Report

As you all know I work for the Southern Africa – Indian Ocean Division (SID) as an IT Director.  Twice a year there are meetings held here in Pretoria where Adventist Leadership from all over the region meet and discuss progress on projects, conduct strategic planning, pray and worship together, and of course give a report on things accomplished.  In May of 2013 the IT Department of SID put together a video report of all the things we’ve accomplished over the past year which was shared with the attendees of the Mid-Year Meetings in Pretoria along with the attendees of the Adventist IT Professional Meetings in Dubai, UAE during the GAiN Conference.  I’ve embedded a copy of that report here to give our family and friends a glimpse into the work we are doing here in this part of the world.

Please keep us in prayer as we continue to do the work the Lord has called us to do!

“We would be regarded as people who live in the stone age.” Real talk right there. It is amazing what can happen with people catch the vision, and move towards it with determination.

Congratulations to the SID staff, leadership, and members! You might not be where you want to be, but you are clearly making progress. Keep pushing!

    • Something you said this past weekend about teaching vs preaching reminded me that the concept we’re using is str8 from Pastor Russell… “Write Vision, Make it Plain”
